Maybe not easy for everyone, but if you are not a programmer and you already know how to create Flash applications for the web, you can easily export your projects as a mobile app, for iOS or for Android. This is great news for someone like me who is more inclined to create things visually.
Create as usual
Even though you are creating projects for touch devices, Mouse events are now touch events and the device will recognize them as such.
Where to start
There are some excellent tutorial videos on YouTube. These videos are right from Brent Arnold, Flash Developer extraordinaire and one of the official beta testers Flash CS 5.5.
Aside from creating your App, there is the process of getting it to market. You will need to create an iOS developer account on developer.apple.com . After that it’s a lot of hoop jumping. You also need a certificate, an app ID, and a provisioning profile (which costs $99 a year).
No need to buy a Mac
Contrary to a popular myth, you don’t need to buy a Mac in order to create an iPhone or iPad.
