Cooliris is a free browser plug-in that turns your web browser into a super media explorer.
The name of the game here is speed. Scrolling through hundreds of images on the web has never been faster, and as a visual artist, this can be quite useful when searching for that perfect reference shot.
You can fly through the fall of images at high speeds, and the photos seem to load instantly. This is a liberating experience compared to the normal scrolling and page flipping.
Not only can you search the web, but you can browse with your ifinite wall on a whole list of compatible sites. And if your site hosts a lot of images, you can easily make your website compatible with Cooliris browsing by adding a media RSS feed.
Cooliris is a nice add-on that enhances image browsing efficiency, especially in large quantity.
Liveshare
Another interesting feature that comes with the browser plug-in is a photo sharing tool called Liveshare. Liveshare which let’s you instantly add photos too a public album. Every photo you take with your mobile device will be instantly uploaded to a Liveshare album you can then share with anyone and everyone. You can do more than just share your photos, you can team up with people to create a real-time collaborative photo album.
