Urbane Camp is pleased to announce the addition of a new staff member at the growing agency today. Royal Oak resident Erica Finley (left) has taken on the role of senior journalist. She will work with a variety of clients across North America including Dale Carnegie franchisees.
Finley recently served as social media account executive at Berline in Bloomfield Hills, where she has worked since 2009 and previously held the position of assistant account executive. Her responsibilities ranged from strategic planning to content development and public relations.
“I couldn’t be more excited about joining Urbane Camp team,” Finley said. “The passion I’ve seen from the people who work here is both refreshing and contagious, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with such an innovative, forward-thinking group.”
Finley’s professional background is solidly rooted in journalism. She has worked at such Michigan publications as the Michigan Business Review, Oakland Business Review, Battle Creek Enquirer and Kalamazoo Gazette.
“I’m really looking forward to having Erica join our team,” said Corey Perlman, co-founder of Urbane Camp along with Eric Brown. “Not only is she an exceptional writer, she also understands the world of social media and how to engage people with her content.”
Fans of the Urbane brand will recognize Finley as a regular contributor to the Urbane Life online magazine. “Erica’s expertise in both social media and journalism made her the perfect candidate for this position,” said Brown. “We look forward to having her here as we continue to grow.”
