Apartment Marketing: Create An Entertaining Experience

Happy New Year Friends!
It is the first of the new decade! Pretty big stuff! As I sift through my thoughts of where we have been and where we are going, this blog helps me organize my thoughts, and your feedback, criticisms, suggestions and comments have really helped shape some of our best ideas here at the Urbane Lab. We appreciate your comments and involvement!

Lets Entertain
We have worked this idea to some extent into our apartment marketing at Urbane Apartments, by Enhancing the Prospects Experience, much more than our competitors, but we plan on really upping the ante from Enhancing the Residents Experience to Creating a Memorable Experience at each of the Customer Touch Points throughout the Resident Life Cycle.

Starting at the front door of the Urbane Underground, Prospects will be dazzled and entertained. Our Centralized Leasing Office doesn’t look much like a leasing office, but more like, well sort of like a theater, a night club and eclectic coffee shop all rolled into one. It is an interesting space, and if you haven’t stopped by for awhile, we have added several new cool features. The Urbane Underground screams Fun!

I see our Behavior at Urbane, going forward to look more like a Theme Hotel or Cruise Lines, than an Apartment Management Company.

No Fair No Fees
We fooled around with this concept this summer, and we are bringing it back. It just seems like the most profitable airline in history is on to something.

We Love Pets
We have had huge success at Urbane with No Pet Fees, No Breed Restrictions, and emphasizing that Urbane Loves Pets. We want to take that up a notch or two by crafting a donation of something, time or money to the local rescue, and pledge that donation in the name of the residents pet, complete with a certificate, photos and videos. We hope to make a much deeper connection, something worth remembering, and hopefully worth talking about.

Ratings
We are aggressively going after any Rating and Review we can muster up with a regimented personal follow up to every Service Request and a Call to Action. We are NOT offering prizes or anything of the sort, but we are not going to be bashful about asking for a review.

Partnership Marketing
We are gearing up for several different apartment marketing ideas that are pretty far from the beaten path of typical apartment marketing, and all include some sort of Partnership Marketing. We believe that as Social Media Marketing continues to overshadow traditional marketing, there will be an abundant flow of excellent marketing affiliates that align with our Brand, and help us further evolve our Urbane VIP Program, and deliver heightened experiences and memories with our residents and our following.

Scrap The Static Web Site
The static web site needs to go in exchange for a new Urbane Web Site that we will build on a Word Press Platform that is much more interactive, and way user friendly to folks stopping by for a look see.

We have learned so much about SEO (search engine optimization) and SERP (search engine results page) that frankly, the static web sites of yesterday will become dinosaurs. The ones that you need anyone technical to help you with, those kind, they need to go.

Be on the watch for a pretty simple, effectively streamed lined, interactive web site from Urbane, with a significant increase and flow of relevant content creation.

That’s enough for now, and these are some of the things we are focused on in 2010. What are your apartment marketing projects for the start of this new year?
