Selling Lifestyle

Marketing in a down economy when budgets have been slashed can be a challenge. You have to do everything you can to be creative, and still have a Remarkable message. But, shouldn’t you be doing that anyway? Some may argue, the best of the best come out in the worst of times. In our last post we talked about using logo stickers on Flip Video Recorders. Well, here is another use for those stickers. I love stickers, they are cheap to purchase, and can be used on a multitude of projects.

Celebrate those lease signings by doing some shots! Yep, Energy Drink Shots and, in our case, the vendor donates the Energy Drinks for exposure and they are part of the Urbane Preferred Partner Program. We applied a logo sticker to a plain shot glass and we are ready to serve and celebrate. Residents get a real charge out of it, literally and it lightens up a typical boring lease signing. It also sets the tone of what to expect at your new home, FUN! People buy on emotion and engagement, sell the Lifestyle you are trying to portray by behaving as such. Too, there is a take home shot glass for the resident to keep and take home with them. This is also a great opportunity to take pictures of the toast. Kind of corny, but people love pictures and it gives you a chance to follow up with them when you email the picture. You can also put the pictures up on a flickr site where they can be shared.
These are ideas that anyone can do. There is hardly any cost involved, and it is something your resident will talk about. Best thing is, it is one more thing you can do today to Break From the Pack of Apartment Commodity
